BANDIPUR HOLIDAYS

The Serai-Bandipur

The Bandipur National Park is part of the massive Nilgiri biosphere, home to some of the most endangered species of wild life, the majestic tiger being its poster child. Watered by 4 rivers - the Moyar, Kabini Moolehole and Nugu, Bandipur is an area so close to nature and its creatures that venture into its heart is one of the most beautiful you could ever set upon, and to actually stay overnight, under the canopy of stars, is in one word-unforgettable.

Wind flower-Bandipur

The Windflower Tusker Trails is a jungle retreat, located very close to the Bandipur Forest Reserve. In order to preserve the sanctity of the jungle environment and to maintain the delicate balance of the forest eco system, we do not have televisions in the rooms and we cannot guarantee mobile phone or internet connectivity at the resort. We request our guests

Bandipur Safari Lodge

Once the private hunting grounds of the maharaja, Bandipur is unapologetically wild terrain. Elephants roam in large herds, deer stare at you brazenly and peafowl flit in and out as they deem fit. Nestled at the foothills of the Nilgiris, Bandipur has had a long tryst with tigers. One of the thirty reserves identified across the country to save the tiger and its habitat, it’s also one of the last refuges of the endangered Asiatic wild elephant. The Bandipur Safari Lodge is your way of being a part of this ecological haven.

Dhole's Den-Bandipur

The lodge is in the vicinity of small villages bordering the Bandipur National Park. Nevertheless the wild animals of the park are close enough to be even heard. Be it the sloth bear with its cubs at night or elephants and wild boar, the roar of the tiger or the growl of a leopard, none are ever too far away.
